How to Sing Better Instantly
Singing is one of those things that people assume you got or you don’t got. It’s something that you must be born with or you have to be a prodigy. It is true that a lot of musicians and singers that you see were born that way. They had the talent from the start. But what you’re not aware of is that there are just as many people that have talent. They worked hard and learn how to sing better through training and constant practice. It was those that had the determination to further themselves that were able to get good at it.
In the end, when you’re singing to an audience. Do they care whether you had to work hard to sing the way you do or whether you were born that way? No, they don’t care. All they care about is the sound and that is what you should care about.
I want to show you how to sing better instantly because there are little things you can do and the more that you practice it the better you’ll get. Your voice is just like any other muscle. It needs to be trained and worked on until it gives the appropriate result we want to see. Just like a muscle it can’t be overworked or you could cause damage. It does take time to work on this, but you just keep working at it day after day and you’ll eventually learn how to sing good.
What I want to do is share a singing exercise that has helped me out a lot. We can all sing well if we focus on our sounds. The problem is that singing in your shower is much different than singing to a large audience. You have to learn how to project your singing voice to a crowd. A lot of people can’t hold that good voice when they’re projecting it out to an audience. I know I had a big problem with that, but I was able to sing better instantly when I started to focus on this one little exercise.
Okay all you have to do is lie down on the floor, put your hands right on your solar plexus and close your eyes. What you’re going to be doing is focusing completely on your breathing. The reason people can’t project their singing voice is that they don’t use most of their lung capacity. As you breathe in try and push your hands up as high as you can with your chest. Conversely, when you let air out, try to suck your chest in as far as you can, so your hands go down as far as possible.
This is going to teach you how to sing properly. After you do this little exercise you’re instantly going to be able to use more of your lung capacity. This will allow you to project your singing voice very loudly. You won’t feel the need to rush it or push it, which causes the voice to distort. It is one of the most important singing exercises that you can do and it works wonders.
The cool thing about this is that the more you do it, the better you get. Singers focus on this everyday and they work at it. You can work at it too. With this training you can learn how to sing low, high and even in other singing styles. It’s a really powerful method.
It may seem simple, and sure it is. But do it. Give it a try and see what happens. You’ll be surprised at how well this will work for you.
